spoon fed traditions

Melbourne perfect for Spoon fed lessons

Spoon fed flew from Noosa's beautiful mid 20℃ into the freezing weather of Melbourne and a very chilly 15℃. The team wined, tasted and cooked up some amazing dishes.

Whilst touring the city Mia and Paul had the privilege of learning to make traditional Pork & Fennel Italian Sausages (Calabrian style).

Paul was so excited getting up early to start the process in the back yard with a very important local Italian woman, Mia's mother. The recipe is handmade each year and is perfect for the crisp Melbourne weather.

Enjoy the photographs and please download the PDF version of the recipe and try it at home!

Update! - Our beautiful sausages were shipped from Melbourne and arrived in Noosa just in time for Spring.

Paul was extremely excited and rearing to delve into "his creation". We managed to save a few pieces and enjoyed a gorgeous serving of pork & fennel asparagus risotto!
